About Ma'at Em Maakheru

Ma'at em Maakheru is a Reiki Master/Teacher and Belief Management Counselor,  Kemetic Priestess, and Yoruba Initiate.  She is also known to some as the Hiphop Reiki Master.  She is the former owner/creator of the URban Energy Center in Washington DC and specializes in Chakra Energy and Kemetic Readings and Healing.    She has traveled across the country speaking on Chakras and Energy from an Afrikan and interactive perspective and has presented her seminar at the Congressional Black Caucus, Urban League Young Professionals Group, and as an opening speaker for KRS-One lectures.
